{"id":638,"date":"2021-11-15T13:20:39","date_gmt":"2021-11-15T03:20:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lakesidect.com.au\/WP\/?p=638"},"modified":"2021-11-15T13:20:41","modified_gmt":"2021-11-15T03:20:41","slug":"energy-emissions-reduction-success","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lakesidect.com.au\/WP\/2021\/11\/15\/energy-emissions-reduction-success\/","title":{"rendered":"Energy &#038; Emissions Reduction Success."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our world&#8217;s existential necessities which include CO2 emissions and depletion of our carbon absorbing forests and jungles, is being highlighted at the G20 summit in Rome and followed by the COP26 Glasgow climate change conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We am very pleased to see our vision for Lakeside Cooling Towers [LCT] being finally acted upon by the world at large.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since 1992 LCT has stopped using timber for cooling tower building as part of its determination to reduce degradation of our environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is also very pleasing to see many of our clients\u2019 commitment to our environment by selecting LCT\u2019s energy efficient Australian made cooling towers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Santos one of our clients, has successfully tested last year 100 tons of CO2 \u201cMoomba\u201c Carbon Capture &amp; Storage (CCS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Moomba CCS project is expected to create about 230 jobs during the construction phase and store about 1.7 million tones of carbon dioxide per year in depleted oil and gas reservoirs in South Australia\u2019s far north.
